Five Fact Friday - 8/27/10 {Lincoln, NE Photographer}

1. Shooting an engagement session for my cousin and her financé this weekend. :) Stay tuned this weekend for a sneak peek. ;)

2. Have been SUPER productive on XO's b-day party invites this week ... finally. They turned out pretty cute for being made in one night.





3. I love the little things around the house that remind me that I'm a mommy. *double heart* :)

(at least I hope that's a picture of me ... ) ;)



4. Here's a couple more from XO's bday shoot since I never got any more up after the first post.

He's even cute when he's pouting. :)





5. Going to go get my jammies on now and snuggle up on the couch for tonight's episode of Project Runway - LOVE IT! :)

Five Fact Friday ~ 8/20/10 {Lincoln, NE Photographer}

1. I have a super special session scheduled for this weekend for a VERY special customer … I like to call him XO. He’s a great little model … sometimes. ;) We’ll see how it goes. I forget how much prep it takes you guys to get ready for photos!! Haircut tomorrow, made a trip to GAP already for outfit choices ...

So keep on the lookout for a sneak peek for me. :)

2. My first issue of Professional Photographer Magazine is finally on the way. I’ve been wanting to subscribe for quite a while and just never did it. What could be better than 2 of my favorite things, photography and magazines! WOO HOO!!! :)

3. I have a LOT of work to do for X’s birthday parties! Hopefully I can get some of that stuff knocked out this weekend and get some serious cleaning done at the house. Maybe I can even talk my husband into hanging a photo or two on the walls.

4. VMommy cards and welcome letters should be in the mail sometime next week so watch your mailboxes! There will be a awesome initial VMommy Club offer (and it will have an expiration date so make sure you check it out right away!) Want to join the VMommy Club the only requirement is that you refer a friend …. That’s easy!

5. Every blog post is better with photos so here's a couple (from my SUPER junky point and shoot camera - sometimes I need to remind myself that every photo doesn't need to be "the perfect shot" sometimes it's just about capturing the memories period.) :) Or MAYBE my adorable hubby could get me a G10 for Xmas this year and I could have the best of both worlds (hint hint.) :)

So, I'll be out this weekend on a quick little mini vacation. I'm really just looking forward to seeing my husband while I'm awake. If you don't know Mark he's a bit of a work-a-holic (understatement of the year!)

Since I won't have a five fact friday post this week I thought I would throw you some clothing inspiration to think about for future sessions. :)

Tiny little diva {Lincoln, NE Newborn Photographer}

This little girl was a total little diva model. She had a list of demands and if we didn't follow them we were NOT going to get any photos. So we played by her rules and mom, grandma, and I won in the end.

I really do think these kids are pretty awesome. :) They happened to belong to a good friend of mine and are X's BFFs.

1. This is going to be short and sweet, just like this little girl that I get to see Saturday. :)

3. One more weekend and we're off to the Yankees baseball game and Worlds of Fun in Kansas City! :)

4. Since I'll be out next Friday through Sunday I want to Congratulate the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Monroe on their wedding this coming weekend now! Congrats you two!!! :) *heart* :) :) :)

5. XO is home from 3 days of camping so I'm off for some Mommy/XO time before bed time. Told you it was going to be short. :)
